This Privacy Policy applies to the Android and iOS versions of Hearthguard, published by DTWorldz. It explains how information is handled when you play the game, view an optional rewarded advertisement or manage your advertising privacy choices.
Hearthguard does not currently require you to create an account or provide your name, email address or payment information in the game.
Game Data Stored On Your Device
Hearthguard stores game progress and preferences on your device so that you can continue playing between sessions. This may include level progress, village and worker progression, earned resources, completed rewarded-ad claims, cooldowns, language choices and audio settings.
This local data remains on your device unless the operating system, a platform backup feature or a future game service handles it differently. You can generally remove local game data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
Optional Rewarded Advertising
Hearthguard uses Google Mobile Ads to offer optional rewarded advertisements. Rewarded advertisements do not open automatically. You choose whether to watch one after an eligible victory, and the game grants the displayed in-game Gold bonus only after the advertising provider reports that the reward was earned.
Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share information such as your IP address, general device or account identifiers, advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, video views, diagnostic information and performance information. This information may be used for advertising, measurement, analytics, security and fraud prevention.
Game Analytics
Hearthguard uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand game usage and the reliability of optional rewarded advertisements. The game may record whether an eligible rewarded offer was displayed or selected, whether an advertisement started, whether it was completed, dismissed, unavailable or failed, and whether the corresponding in-game reward was granted.
These events may include limited gameplay context such as the level, star rating, displayed Gold reward and whether the victory was a first clear or boss wave. The game does not add names, email addresses, raw rewarded-claim identifiers or free-form advertising error messages to these analytics events. Google Analytics may also automatically process app-instance identifiers, approximate location, device information and app interactions for measurement and service operation.
Consent, Apple Tracking And Privacy Choices
Hearthguard uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request or update advertising consent where required. The available choices and the form shown to you depend on your region, device and applicable regulations. Hearthguard resolves this consent flow before initializing Google Mobile Ads and does not request an advertisement until Google reports that an ad request is permitted.
On iOS, Hearthguard also uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission before allowing information to be used to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. This Apple request is presented after any applicable Google consent message. If you do not allow tracking, the game does not request personalized ads, does not authorize Firebase ad-user-data or ad-personalization processing, and does not use the Apple advertising identifier for cross-app or cross-website tracking. You can continue playing and may still choose to view a contextual or non-personalized rewarded advertisement where one is available.
The current Apple permission status, this policy, and applicable Google privacy controls are available at Menu > Settings > Privacy & Tracking. When Google requires a persistent privacy entry point for your region, Manage Privacy Options appears on that screen. You can also use your device's system privacy and advertising settings to manage platform-level choices where supported. Apple's tracking permission can be changed later in iOS Settings.
Service Providers
Google provides the advertising, consent and analytics services used by Hearthguard. Google processes information under its own policies and terms. You can learn more through the Google Privacy Policy and Google's advertising information.
Data Sharing And Sale
DTWorldz does not sell personal information collected directly through Hearthguard. Advertising and analytics data may be collected, processed or shared by Google and its advertising partners as described above and according to your available consent choices.
Retention And Security
Local game data is kept for as long as it remains in the app's storage. Third-party service providers control their own retention periods. Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. No application or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
Hearthguard is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. DTWorldz does not knowingly request personal information from children through the game. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information can contact the studio to request assistance.
Your Rights And Contact
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal information. To ask a privacy question or make a request, contact DTWorldz at playdtworldz@gmail.com.

This policy may be updated when Hearthguard, its advertising configuration or its service providers change. The latest version and its revision date will remain available on this page.
